Reserve-backed design

NetNet is structured around NET, treasury reserves and a NAV floor. The public site describes every NET as backed by no less than 1 USDG in protocol reserves. Treasury accounting and protocol-owned liquidity are used to calculate the backing figure shown in the shareholder interfaces.

NetNet staking and 8-hour distributions

Staking is the Shareholder Dividend Program. The staking interface uses 8-hour epochs and displays a variable distribution rate. The current interface documents the rate as R_MAX × clamp((P − 1)/(K − 1), 0, 1), where P is market price divided by backing. The rate can fall as the market premium narrows rather than remaining fixed.

Oracle and fail-closed behavior

Price-sensitive protocol operations rely on on-chain price checks. The documentation describes a fail-closed model: when required price data is not valid, dependent operations stop rather than continuing on stale assumptions.

Bonds, buybacks and premium sales

The protocol combines reserve-backed bond sales with inverse-bond buybacks and premium-sale mechanics. Their shared purpose is to route value between market liquidity, supply and treasury reserves according to rules described in the protocol documentation.
